Diploma in Linux System and Kernel Programming
DEPIK has redesigned its well appreciated and well received course
"Diploma in Embedded and System Programming" to suite the changing times.
More and more advanced embedded
systems are using Linux Kernel in the place of RTOS. So DEPIK has replaced
its Embedded and RTOS Programming module with the Linux Kernel Programming.
This diploma consists of three modules. Each module is taught in one
month (4 weeks) with 20 sessions. Each session is one and half hours in
duration. Following are these three modules:
- Advanced C and Data structures for system programmers
- Linux System and Network Programming
- Linux Kernel and device driver Programming

This diploma course is offered both for the engineering graduates and
working professionals. Working professionals can take up individual
modules based on their interest. There is no entrance test for the
working professionals.
Engineering graduates must qualify "C Programming in Linux Environment"
test, to join this Diploma. This test is conducted on a Linux system,
by asking the student to write three C programs on the system. DEPIK
is offering Linux live CD and material for practicing C, for this test.
DEPIK is also offering "C Programming in Linux Environment" course through
its certificate courses.
Schedule of batches
Next batch of Diploma in Linux System and Kernel Progrmming is going
to start from 3rd January 2010 .
Timings are Morning 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM.
Admission is only for good C programmers who are qualified in DEPIK's
C test in Linux environment.
