dpBoot - Boot Loader and System Debug Monitor software

This dpBoot software once installed on a PC motherboard, then the motherboard can be used like a Pentium Microprocessor Kit. This motherboard will become most powerful Microprocessor kit, essential for any Microprocessor Lab. Using this kit students can learn, write and execute 80386 to Pentium Assembly language programs. Studetns can also develop Embedded programs and device drivers on this board. The motherboard has got the following I/O controller chips for which students can develop device drivers and embedded applications.

• Serial Controller for RS-232 serial communication.
• Audio Controller for interfacing Speakers and Microphones
• Programmable Interrupt controller to write Interrupt Service Routines (ISR)
• Programmable Interval Timer to generate periodic interrupts

• IDE controller to interface to Hard disk or CD-ROM drive
